Mendix, a Siemens Business PPC Campaign

Overview

Led the planning and setup of a PPC campaign for Mendix (a Siemens business) to support the launch of its first Korean website, managing localization, keyword strategy, budgeting, and cross-market coordination. (Dec 2022 – Apr 2023)


My Role

  • Led campaign kickoff and brief alignment, coordinating between iProspect Korea, iProspect Germany, and Siemens stakeholders

  • Developed and managed campaign timeline, including keyword delivery, asset deadlines, and go-live schedule

  • Conducted keyword research, localization, and translation, adapting global messaging to the Korean market

  • Built and structured keyword strategy including competitor benchmarking and search intent alignment

  • Proposed an increase in campaign budget from ~$1.5K to ~$3.5K USD to improve campaign viability

  • Set up UTM tracking and landing page parameters to support performance tracking

  • Coordinated campaign setup including ad copy structure, keyword input, and platform configuration (Naver PPC)

  • Managed client communication and intercompany coordination with global teams (iProspect Germany)

  • Handled operational processes, including invoicing and internal coordination


Outcome

  • Completed full campaign planning and setup, including keyword structure, tracking, and platform configuration

  • Campaign launch was delayed due to website readiness and internal client constraints, despite full setup completion

  • Demonstrated ability to manage campaign delivery end-to-end under uncertainty and cross-market dependencies


Key Learnings

Learned how campaign execution can be impacted by external dependencies such as product readiness, and the importance of aligning timelines across multiple stakeholders in global projects.
